NOW 1 YEAR OLD and Nominated for BEST DUBSTEP CLUB NIGHT IN THE SOUTH WEST at The SW DnB Awards 2010, RUBBADUBDUB brings you SAVAGE nights of Reggae, Dancehall, Breaks, Funk, Dubstep and sometimes even a lil bit of DnB from Taunton to Bristol and looking to spread to other places, towns and Cities in 2o1o ! !
RUBBADUBDUB was born in Taunton on a not so beautiful day in March 2009 when, over a swift half LA LUKA & KRAUSEY decided that Taunton needed a more underground music night of the dub/roots variety including any music that has spawned from these amazing genres, to give the proper, full-on party people who were bored of chavvy venues playing cheesey pop music somewhere to go!!
After speaking to the owners of Perfect 5th a night was penned in and in conjunction with the legends that are Bridgwater Reggae SoundSystem, RUBBADUBDUB @ Perfect 5th had their Launch Night on 17th April 2009!
Within 7 months RUBBADUBDUB had not only given Perfect 5th their busiest nights since they opened 9 months previous but also given the party people of the area somewhere to let go of their feelings, worries and inhibitions and just have a stompingly good time!
1st October saw the invasion begin with the Launch of RUBBADUBDUB @ Motion, Bristol!!
